Day | Schedule |
---|---|
1 | Meet Bones and Anna at Blue Lagoon in St Vincent. Then get settled on the sailing yacht Emily Morgan. The marina is approximately 25 minutes from Argyle International Airport. After the guest briefing, we will set sail straight away across to the neighbouring island of Bequia. Time for a sundowner cocktail then a delicious dinner onboard Emily Morgan and kick-off the holiday in style! |
2 | After time ashore to explore the picture-postcard village of Port Elizabeth, or a morning spent snorkelling from the yacht in the crystal clear water, we set sail for Mustique, home of the rich and famous. Cocktails ashore in the famous Basil’s Bar and dinner on board.
|
3 | A longer sail today, to Mayreau, stopping for a snorkel and lunch in Canouan. Saline Bay in Mayreau is our overnight stop. There are only about 250 inhabitants on Mayreau and most live here. A walk up the hill past the many rum shops to the top of the island will gift you with fantastic views across the whole of the Grenadines and will help work up an appetite for dinner on board. |
4 | Woohoo, you are off to paradise! After a delicious breakfast, we will set off to the beautiful Tobago Cays Marine Reserve. Snorkelling in the turquoise waters is incredible, and hopefully, you will get to snorkel with Green Turtles as they munch on the seagrass in the anchorage. Explore the local area or sit back and relax and shout “I see another turtle’ every few minutes! Dinner can either be on board Emily Morgan or a delicious BBQ ashore. |
5 | After a morning dip and breakfast, you will set sail for Union Island, the capital of The Grenadines. We will take a mooring in Clifton Harbour for lunch giving you time to explore ashore this lovely little village. After which you can snorkel off the back of the yacht around the stunning reef. Then we will head to Happy Island and enjoy some late afternoon cocktails with Jante watching the sunset between the palm fronds before heading home for a tasty evening meal on board Emily Morgan. |
6 | More lovely trade wind sailing today as we sail to the private island of Petit St Vincent for the night. |
7 | Today we sail to Chatham Bay, almost deserted apart from a few excellent beach bars, with flat water for swimming, snorkelling or kneeboarding and a tasty evening meal on board Emily Morgan or a BBQ dinner ashore. |
8 | After breakfast, you will have an all-day sail back to Bequia. As we only had a brief stop at the start of the trip, we will be visiting this beautiful island again, there is a lot to explore! Once we have dropped anchor, take a stroll along the boardwalk to Port Elizabeth, a relaxed town with stalls you can visit and incredibly friendly locals to meet. Or snorkel off the beautiful Princess Margaret Beach. Dinner on board or ashore at one of the many wonderful restaurants. |
9 | Today we will be sailing back to the island of St Vincent, exploring up around the lush coast. We will tie up to a tree for our overnight stop in beautiful Cumberland Bay, with its black volcanic sand. Take a swim in the fresh fish-filled waters and then get ready for a spectacular sunset. We can head ashore to one of the beach bars for a sundowner if you so wish and then head back to Emily Morgan for a delicious last dinner. |
10 | After a last dip into the lovely warm waters, we will set sail to Blue Lagoon. We will arrive in time for a noon departure from the marina to the airport.
