Day | Schedule |
---|---|
1 | Meet your crew in Blue Lagoon Marina, in St Vincent, and get settled on your yacht. The marina is approximately 25 minutes from Argyle International Airport. After a guest briefing, you will head around the corner to Young Island, the first mooring and the start of your sailing vacation! If you have the energy, we would highly recommend a walk up 200+ steps on Fort Duvernette where you will get to see stunning views of the south of St Vincent and Bequia, and it is a good way to stretch your legs after a longish flight. Then it will be time for your first delicious dinner under the stars. |
2 | Set sail for beautiful Bequia, one of our favourite anchorages. You will arrive in Bequia in time for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation on board and ashore. Ashore you will find a wonderful boardwalk to wander along, a relaxed town with stalls you can visit and incredibly friendly locals. We highly recommend heading ashore or to the floating bar for cocktails and if you wish before a fabulous meal back on board. |
3 | After a delicious breakfast, your destination will be the beautiful Tobago Cays Marine Reserve. Snorkelling in the turquoise waters is incredible, and hopefully, you will swim with Green Turtles and Rays, as they munch and feed in the seagrass in the anchorage. For dinner, we will highly recommend heading ashore for a beach BBQ. It is a wonderful experience not to be missed. |
4 | After a morning dip and breakfast, set sail to Union Island, the capital of The Grenadines. The first mooring will be in Clifton Harbour for lunch. Pop into Clifton and visit the quaint town, or pop over and see Janti on Happy Island and partake in a cheeky afternoon rum cocktail! Then we recommend sailing around to the stunning Chatham Bay for the evening and a tasty evening meal on board. This is a great bay for snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding. There are also some great beach bars like Vanessa & Seckie’s. |
5 | Today you will move into Grenadian waters. The first stop will be Sandy Island! This sandy bar is a great place for a snorkel and for taking pictures of yourself on a deserted island! Then you will then have another short sail to Tyrell Bay in Carriacou, which is where we will spend the rest of the day relaxing and having fun. |
6 | Your last full day will be an all-day sail back to Grenada. On the way, you can stop at Ronde Island. Only inhabited by a few fishermen, this remote island is a perfect lunch stop and a great place to jump in for a snorkel. After lunch, you will then sail back down the west coast of Grenada, a truly luscious green island that provides a hint of spice in the wind as we sail past. Your anchorage will be St Georges. |
7 | After a last dip into the lovely warm waters, we recommend a quick trip back to Molinere. This is an incredible underwater sculpture park and a great place a final snorkel. Then set sail to Port Louis Marina, Grenada, your drop-off point. |
